WalleyeX Guide Service operates out of a fully rigged 2008 Triton 215X with a 250 Mercury Pro XS.
Full and half day guide trips are available for up to 2 people. Arrangements can be made for larger
groups.
I primarily guide on the Lake Winnebago system which consists of Lake Winnebago, Butt de Morts,
Lake Winneconne, Poygan, Wolf River and Fox River. In spring and fall I also guide on the Fox River
located in Depere.
A trip with Captain Greg Karch will be a great learning experience. I will teach you different types of
techniques and tips I utilize to catch the fish we are targeting.
I start fishing open water in March for Walleye on the Wolf River. In April the walleye fishing is still
good on the Wolf River and the upper Lakes. May is a good time to fish for White Bass and is a great
time to take youths fishing. May, June and July are a good time to fish walleye on the Lake
Winnebago system. July, August and September is a great time to fish perch in Lake Winnebago.
